Eva Rosenkranz Instructor
Eva has practiced yoga for over 30 years and has been a yoga instructor for 7 years.
A former competitive athlete, Eva recognized the power of yoga to simultaneously relax, recharge, build strength, create flexibility, and instill respect for one’s body--benefits she never fully received from the sports she played.
Eva transformed her own life through yoga, and her mission now is to bring those same life-changing benefits to others. Born in Germany, Eva came to Texas in 1992 in a corporate liaison role, but soon thereafter began training to be a yoga instructor and Montessori teacher. Ultimately she decided to become a full-time yoga teacher.
50% of Eva's work is dedicated to help children not just survive school, but thrive in it. The other half of her time is dedicated to teaching adults who want to experience a new sense of aliveness.
She is certified through Yoga Alliance, also certified to teach K-8th grade through Yoga Ed. and pre-K yoga through the Radiant Child Program. Recently she increased her toolbox in working with children with ADHD, sensory processing and other learning differences by training with Every Kids Yoga.

Eva has worked as a Montessori teacher for 11 years, in Pre-K to 2nd grade. For eight of these years she worked at the Shelton School in Dallas, a school which is specialized in working with children with Dyslexia and ADHD.
"For 4 years I did yoga with 1st graders every morning, for about 1/2 hour," Eva explains. "Yoga really helped them get ready for the day and made a big difference in their ability to learn."
Yoga for Youngsters classes are fun-based, including yoga poses, acting out yoga stories & exploring movement and breath.
Eva has worked with students who have anxiety, depression, stress and coordination problems.
A true child’s advocate, Eva is highly sensitive to an individual child’s needs and learning differences. She is dedicated to helping children learn to self-monitor their behavior, thus making learning easier and more enjoyable.
On a daily basis she experiences the benefits that yoga has on children. “The Yoga Ed. programs are truly inspirational,” says Eva. “They are fun, easy to learn, create a sense of well-being, and benefit teachers and students alike.”
