Do you think you are too old or too stiff for yoga? Are you just too tired?
TLC Yoga--Tender-Loving-Care--is the yoga class for you! Class begins with grounding, centering and breathing. Next, we enjoy some simple stretches, a balance pose and a traditional standing yoga posture or two. Then, we move into restorative poses, resting on bolsters, blankets and other props so the body is fully supported. Restorative poses allow physical and mental release and open us to new possibilities.
This class is recommended for expectant mothers, too! Prenatal Yoga is good preparation for birthing, as well as helpful for the challenges of the physical changes of pregnancy. TLC Yoga allows pregnant women to begin or continue a yoga practice safely, respecting their energy levels, exploring release and practicing breathing patterns.
TLC Yoga is also the class to consider when recovering from injury, illness, surgery, or jet-lag. Feel free to "drop in" to this class as needed--no reservations necessary!
If you've never tried a yoga class before, TLC Yoga is a excellent "beginner-friendly," low-key introduction to the mind and body benefits of yoga!
